Birth Chart consultation
Also known as a Natal Chart Reading. Birth chart consultations are likely the most common form of astrological service today. Often referred to as the natal chart, the birth chart shows the planetary placements and cardinal orientation of the zodiac at the time of birth.

Using the birth chart as a basis, a remedial consultation will discuss the situation at hand, look at the potential solutions, and prescribe a method that is reasonably practical and suitable for the querent. Depending on the situation, remedial measures often take a period of time to resolve.

Electional astrology is the science and art of determining the most auspicious time for an event. Events such as weddings, starting businesses, moving, and signing contracts are examples of important moments of life for which timing is advantageous. We can see in our own lives the same action can have very different results based on our timing of execution.

THE SIDEREAL DIFFERENCE
Our consultations are based in sidereal astrology, or traditional astrology.
There are two main ways of reckoning the positions of the stars called Sidereal and Tropical. Tropical and Sidereal can also be considered modern and traditional respectively, or western and eastern. The differences between sidereal and longitudinal zodiac can create some confusion.
Planetary Position
The differences lie in the reference point for determining planetary positions. For example, coming from Winter Solstice into spring, the Sun shines on the southernmost point of the Earth, creating less daylight and cooler temperature in the northern hemisphere.
Equinox Angle
Longitudinal Relationship
As the months go on and spring approaches the Sun moves northward, arriving at the equator during the spring equinox. From there the sun continues to move north and when it reaches the northernmost point, this is the summer solstice. This is the longitudinal relationship between the Sun and the Earth the tropical zodiac relies upon.
23 ½ degrees
Tropical zodiac becomes a fixed standard for determining the location of the stars as the equinox is slow to change. The modern way of looking at the sun sign is determined by this. For example, Scorpio is considered the time between October 21- November 21. Due to this, the reckoning of the sign where the Sun rises during the year is now off by about 23 ½ degrees.
Both systems are necessary.
Sideral takes into consideration and tracks the movement of the zodiac looking at the actual placement of the stars. While it may seem that Sidereal is superior, it is actually important to have the tropical zodiac..
Procession of the Equinox.
Both of these calculations, sidereal and tropical respectively, are needed for calculating the procession of the equinox, or the slow changing orientation of the Earth over long periods of time.
Shared Root Origins.
The procession of the equinox happens over a period of 26,000 years due to the wobble and the tilted axis of the Earth. In the future the equinoxes will be at different times and Polaris will no longer be the North Star. These calculations, while traditionally studied in conjunction, have diverged during modern times becoming separate approaches to astrological sciences.
